Donor Features
This year, another milestone was reached: Mr. William H. Price
II, of Cody, Wyoming made a $1.5 million investment in “The
Sanford G. Price and Isabelle P. Barbee Chair in Teaching,
Advising, and Learning.” His dedication to this program
led the way for the college to once again demonstrate our
value in quality teaching, and to provide a vehicle to build
and improve what is already in place. Dr. L.H. Newcomb, Senior
Associate Dean was named as the chair in June, and the first
teaching seminar was held in June. Unfortunately, Mr. Price
died in June, but we will forever uphold the value of his
investment through outstanding teaching, advising and learning,
and we will continue our partnership of mutual interests with
his family.
