Government Relations
State Government Relations: The
legislative unit works with members of Ohio's General Assembly
and their staff to obtain support for operating dollars and
construction funds for the College. College faculty and staff
who plan to seek funds through the State should contact Ted
Berry.
Our College receives over $70 million dollars annually from
State of Ohio through the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development
Center (OARDC) and Extension line items via the Ohio Board
of Regents Budget. These monies are direct allocations by
the Ohio General Assembly.
The State Extension Advisory Committee and the Ohio Agricultural
Research and Development Center Support Council are key partners
in this work for the College. These two membership organizations
are key to College and share the common goal of advocating
and promoting research and extension programs that directly
effect Ohio’s economy, environment, and the well being
of its citizens. If you are not a member already please consider
