Deanna Lennartz is a senior majoring in Agricultural Education from Fort Recovery, OH. Deanna has been active in the Agricultural Education Society, Buckeye Dairy Club, and the CFAES Banquet Steering Committee. Deanna was also very active in FFA and 4-H throughout high school. This past summer Deanna completed an internship with Helena Chemical Company where she used GPS technology to label field boundaries and run test trials on different hybrids, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
Size
of OSU: Although campus may seem intimidating
at first, you will be welcomed by friendly students, faculty,
and staff at the College of Food , Agricultural, and Environmental
Sciences that will make OSU seem like a little village.
Quality
of Academics: As a university that is well
known for its research, I know that everyday I am getting
instructed by professors that are up to date in their field
of study. In many of my classes, the professor teaches out
of a textbook that he/she wrote!
Advice
for Freshmen: It is possible to get an education
and have fun at the same time! Meet as many people as you
can, while taking the classes you enjoy. College is the perfect
opportunity to try something new. Ohio State gives you the
opportunity to experience many different things. Take advantage
of everything, especially the free stuff!

you will have the privilege of calling yourself a true Buckeye. You
will have also received an honorable education from one of
the top public universities in the nation! You will constantly
be surrounded by friends and generous faculty and staff with
so many amazing opportunities at your feet all of the time.
The tradition at Ohio State never ends. Time and change will
surely show how firm thy friendship O-HI-O.
Getting
involved : With so many clubs, organizations,
co-curricular teams, sororities, fraternities, honoraries,
and intramural sports.how can you not find something that
you will love? It is so easy!
