Courses

While abroad for the various six week programs, students complete three courses for fifteen hours of graded OSU credit. The credit earned through a study abroad program can provide most of the needed credits for an International Studies minor (two fifteen hour programs can meet the requirement for Intl. Studies minor), can meet General Education Requirements, or be an excellent use of your free electives. Courses vary with each program.  It is strongly recommended that students going abroad meet with Dr. Jill Pfister (pfister.1@osu.edu) to plan the impact your study abroad will have on your degree audit in advance.  If you would like to use your study abroad credit to complete your requirement for 597 course, you must meet with Dr. Pfister in advance to receive an additional assignment.

All courses are taught in English. Previous foreign language study is helpful but not required.
